The decompressed files need approximately 800 KB of disk space on your PC’s

hard disk. Ensure that this much space is available before beginning this procedure.

The setup program (SETUP.EXE) copies all of the ImageServer Windows Utilities files

to their proper directories on your PC’s hard disk, creates a program window and

program items in Windows, and opens the FastPrint Configuration Manager, so you

can configure your printers, server, Document Server Engine (DSE), DSE Daemon,

and Logfile Daemon.

Use the following steps to run the setup program:

1 Insert the ImageServer Option CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.

2 Run the setup program:

 Windows 3.1—In the Windows Program Manager, from the File menu choose

Run...

 Windows 95/98—From the Start menu choose Run...

3 In the Run dialog box, type

:\utils\dol\setup and choose OK.

is the drive in which you inserted the CD-ROM in step 1. The setup program

opens, and a welcome dialog box displays.

4 Choose Continue.

The Select Installation Destination dialog box appears.
